Disquiet

This group exhibition addresses feelings of unease, anxiety, paranoia, phobias, or what lurks beneath the surface as we move through daily life. Twelve artists explore these themes through sculpture, painting, photography, collage, and video.

Disquiet is presented in collaboration with the Twin Cities Horror Festival (October 27-November 5, 2017).

This exhibit includes works in glass, wood, ceramics, oil painting and more. Expounding on her longstanding conceptual thesis, this collection will consider myth, mortality and the origins of imagination. Through the eyes of a child, Emme explores first encounters with death and investigates the spiritual and creative implications of our eventual confrontation with the unknown.
